Palm Oil Handbook – Samallholder's Palm Oil Plantation

Synopsis:

Assuming that 40% of production comes from smallholder oil palm plantations, then as much as 19.6 million tons of Indonesian CPO production comes from smallholder oil palm plantations. Of course, these smallholder oil palm plantations also have a major contribution to consumers in the world community.

Global market demand which is always increasing, will be in line with the growth of smallholder oil palm plantations that continue to grow. Through a large contribution to the national economy, smallholder oil palm plantations must receive priority and great support for its sustainability.

That's why InfoSAWIT held a “Palm Oil Discussion for the Nation” in 2021, which is an interactive discussion of stakeholders in the national palm oil business, which presents speakers as resource persons from various groups, to provide a complete picture of the existence of palm oil. Aims to provide a correct understanding of the existence and contribution of palm oil, to the country, society and the environment.

From the results of the discussion, InfoSAWIT wrapped it up in a “Palm Palm Handbook: People's Oil Palm Plantation”, which is supported by the Oil Palm Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDPKS), where this book contains the results of discussions and displays various concepts and suggestions from oil palm actors, be it the government , the private sector and farmers.

This book is also valid proof of several actions and suggestions that have arisen from the discussions that have been carried out as well as being an important note in efforts to develop national oil palm plantations. Including being a supporter in efforts to develop national oil palm plantations in the future.
